To this end, the company developed a clear five-year commercial strategy and structure for the implementation. The goal of the new sales model was to share the expertise of experienced seniors with the rest of the organization and improve collaboration by establishing clear processes and customer management models. The company created a comprehensive customer segmentation model and sales management system to manage sales work and resourcing. The company also decided to acquire a new CRM tool to facilitate the implementation of the action plan and operational models.
